I’m the first to agree we need a third party in this country, a viable one with a candidate who can run as effectively as the other 2 parties, but we can’t change this in 2 weeks.
So, Women, if you really care about your rights and women’s issues, think long and hard before you cast your ballot. You never know. This could be the beginning of more to come. Who knows ? We might soon lose the right to vote too.
“There’s so much at stake, I hope you’ll join me in supporting Richard Mourdock for U.S. Senate,” Romney says in the spot, paid for by the Mourdock campaign.
That is from the Washington Post. And free thinking, independent women still want to vote for Romney ? A scary thought. I hope they don’t have daughters !
This is Romney’s colleague
WASHINGTON — Indiana GOP U.S. Senate candidate Richard Mourdock declared Tuesday night he opposes aborting pregnancies conceived in rape because “it is something that God intended to happen.”
Debating Rep. Joe Donnelly (D-Ind.) in their final Senate race showdown, a questioner asked them and Libertarian candidate Andrew Horning to explain their views on abortion.
All three said they were anti-abortion. But Mourdock went further, putting himself in territory near Missouri GOP Senate candidate Rep. Todd Akin, the anti-abortion congressman who infamously asserted that women don’t get pregnant from “legitimate rape.”
“The only exception I have, to have an abortion, is in the case of the life of the mother,” said Mourdock, the Tea Party-backed state treasurer. “I struggled with it myself for a long time, but I came to realize life is that gift from God. I think that even when life begins in that horrible situation of rape, that it is something that God intended to happen.”
Is he serious ? Then I think he should adopt and raise the rapist’s kid as his own. If one more man tells a woman what to do with her body, I think we women will have to stop them. I think it’s imperative to prevent future offspring from these controlling, non-thinking, or ill-thinking men. So here’s my plan and it’s simple.
Let’s just sterilize them ! There. So tell me men, how does it feel to have a woman telling you what to do with your body ? And endorsing someone from the Tea Party ? Hey women, you who are defending your party, there isn’t one. Not with these attitudes. Get your heads on straight. If you honestly tell yourself that these guys won’t reverse Roe V Wade, save me a glass of that Kool-Aid.
My big P.S. I thought one of the Republicans platforms was to keep government out of our lives, so which it ? It can’t be both ways or repealed when you decide it’s a good idea.
